The demand had been a simple one, really. His helmet, his underwear and his boots. Okay, so maybe he'd been drinking a little, like Finn had asked originally, but it wasn't like he was drunk. Just drunk enough to make getting his helmet back a bit of a chore. In the end, he'd conned Jess into grabbing it for him while did his best to tidy up his quarters and if Jess had anything to say about the lube sitting next to his bunk, or the small box by it, she didn't say a word. In truth, she was pleased to see Poe jumping at the chance to be affectionate with someone. Sure, he was affectionate with damn near everyone, but she knew it was different with him and Finn.

Once Jessika had left after teasing him about not being able to walk the next day, he settled in to wait as he'd been told to, helmet perched atop his mussed hair. He wasn't a patient person by nature and now was no different. In the end, he settled in a chair by his desk, a holo in hand as he poured over a report from their earlier patrol flight. Even when he was off, he was often found working. If chided about it, he'd just claim it was a character flaw and laugh it off.

As much as he was smiling, in truth, he was a little apprehensive. Since his return from the Finalizer, he'd had to deal with the thoughts and reminders of his time spent with the First Order and at first, it'd been hard. Nights passed without much sleep, but now, and here with Finn, he was wanting to push himself a bit. Who better to do it with than someone he trusted and loved?

That smile of his softened and he watched Finn in silence before he nodded and and pulled Finn's hand up so he could press a lingering kiss to his knuckles. His gaze never left Finn's face as he stepped back, lowering himself into the chair he'd just vacated.

"Just... don't tie me too tight, okay? I don't need anymore marks on my wrist. Jessika would harass me about it and I'd have to get her back."

They both knew that wasn't the real reason but Poe wasn't about to admit to his own nerves.

Poe didn't have to admit to anything, Finn already knew what the real reasoning for the apprehension was that he did well at mostly hiding behind that charming smile of his. If it hadn't been for that kiss to his knuckles that Finn was taking as reassurance, he would have backed out of this altogether.

"Are you sure?" Finn knelt in front of Poe. "I mean, I could just feed you pizza and fuck the crazy out of you, anyway."

Idly, he ran a hand up and down one of Poe's legs. Now that he was thinking about it, it did seem kind of...strange. Reminded him of how he found Poe strapped down for interrogation and torture even if this was anything but.

While Poe had charming smiles for all, only Finn got to see the little ones. They were something private and special and Poe wouldn't want to share them with anyone else. Nodding, he reached to glide his fingers along Finn's cheek before leaning down to kiss him in clear permission.

When he pulled back, he let his tongue tease at his lower lip before he leaned back once again.

"I guess I need the reminder than this can be for something good and I want to share that with you. It just comes with the added benefit of pizza."
