Description:
Poe stand at 5ā9ā, a muscular build but not too bulky. Heās got brown hair and dark brown eyes that really work with his golden skin. Heās sporting a few scars including a new one on his right cheek but nothing too major.
Physical changes:
Itād be a shame for a pilot not to have wings in Hell, right? Pretty feathery black wings that just donāt work quite well enough to let him fly like he wants. Yeah. A shame. Iām thinking theyāll grow in over time.
Powers:Heās charming? Is that a power?
Heās a decent enough mechanic and is fluent in Galactic Basic as well as Binary and a spattering of other things that could likely get him slapped in bars. Heās more than just a ācapableā pilot as well. When he says he can fly anything, he means it. Heās been in a cockpit since he was six and has always had a natural knack for flying. Even better, he has the uncanny ability to familiarize himself with new ships in the matter of minutes from a swift TIE fighter to large luxury liners. When heās in a fighter, heās a sure shot as well and does his best not to waste any shots.
When heās not in a fighter, heās a pretty decent infantryman as well though heād much rather be in his beloved Black One.

Hell Status: Limbo Case
What Brings Them To Hell: Normally someone like Poe would be bound for the pearly gates since heās a real stand-up kind of guy. The only issue was a simple thing like committing mass murder just a couple of days before his unfortunate accident. Sure, he was blowing up the bad guys, but there was a lot of them and hey, even bad guys just follow orders. Perfect reason for a trial.
The Pitch:
Why wouldnāt Hell want Poe Dameron? Heās pretty much the poster boy of the Resistance, after all. Heās a tried and true hero thanks to his commitment to duty and and what he feels is right, but heās not exactly the perfect soldier thanks to that very same reason. His commitment to his honor and sense of right is absolute even to the point of disobeying direct orders from one of the people he respects and trusts.
Thatās not the crux of it all, though. Poe was raised by heroes and thatās a hell of a thing to live up to. On the surface, he can seem brash and downright arrogant at times, about both his skill as well as his success with it and that arrogance is a bit deserved. If questioned about his motives in serving the Resistance, heāll loudly defend his actions to anyone while deep down, he quietly questions some of the things thatās been done in the name of āpeaceā on both sides of the conflict. His hands are bloody. Very bloody, in fact. On Starkiller alone, he killed thousands and before that, he couldnāt even begin to count them all. In the course of his duty, he used his impressive skill to kill and deep in his soul, that bothers him. It tarnishes a little luster off of the glamour of rebellion that charmed him so when he was a little boy.
He was raised to love to fly. He was raised on stories of Jedi and smugglers and princesses and heās had the honor of knowing those same people but in a way, he wonders if he deserves it thanks to the blood on his hands. Thatās partly why he idolized Leia Organa so much. She was a good person; a princess and politician, but above all else, she was an idealist. Even so, she never hesitated to get her hands dirty when she had to and that was something he could admire. She never seemed to let it affect her. Of course, once he fell in under her command, he learned that it did affect her, and more than she ever let on though she rarely showed it.
The simple fact this: when called on, heāll climb into the cockpit of Black One and once again, heāll kill without question and without looking back. Doesnāt that make him as bad as the First Order? If not, then why? Why should judgement be any different for him that it would be for anyone else? Were his actions really so righteous or is believing that just him being arrogant again?
In the end, Poe seems to be such a simple character but really, thereās no such thing. In his heart of hearts, he believes what heās doing is right and just, but he wonders if the methods will ever bring a lasting peace and if theyāll ever allow him a little peace of mind.
Setting Fit:
Poe might seem better suited for Heaven and for good reason. He really does have a pretty good heart once you get past the cocksure attitude and brash behavior. That why heās not going to take to being sent to Hell very well. Even though thereās a thread of doubt deep down, he really feels what heās done was right, even if how it happened might not be. On the surface, heās going to fuss and fume about suffering such an ungallant death and yes, that really does bother him to a point. Half of Poe is his persona, after all.
Once heās past all that grumpiness, heāll settle in well enough once he realizes that there really is a chance for true redemption. Of course, he has no idea just how long it might be until his trial, but heās used to dealing with bureaucratic nonsense. Shouldnāt be too bad, right? While heās waiting, heāll find himself drawn to those he knows even if a few of them arenāt the most savory of characters. Itās always been pretty easy for Poe to make friends as well, so heāll find himself reaching out to people quite easily. His easy smile and his general good nature tends to draw people close anyway. Heāll charm some and others will get a chance to know him a good deal better. Heāll frequent bars and such and probably get into some trouble since he might be dead, but his personality is still so very lively.
I think heāll end up working as a Reaper but not to ādrag souls to Hellā. No, heāll be there to help ease it some for the damned and hopefully make it better for them than it would be if someone else ended up there to Reap them. Nothing quite like a pretty, good-natured angel of death, right? In time, heāll likely gravitate to the Reform Branch either to work for/with Leia Organa again, or as part of the AES. Just because heās damned doesnāt mean he canāt make a good impression on a Heaven Transfer, right? See, Hellās not so bad.
In the end, no matter where he ends up, thisāll be a fantastic opportunity for him to not only acknowledge that darker side that always seems to take root in the soul during warfare, but itāll give him a chance to work through it and learn to accept it in himself as well as in others. Heāll likely never be a humble soul, but he wonāt be the same cocksure pilot either.
